Welcome to the Liverpool Running Club website. We are based in Walton Hall Sports Centre during the autumn and winter then we move to St Edwards College for the spring and summer months. We are a friendly club that welcomes everyone. Training takes place on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 7pm. Look around our website to find out more!

The next committee meeting will be held on Monday 16 August. 

Club AGM meeting will be on Wednesday 29 September, at the Taxi club. 

For the Askern 10, on 8 August, the club will be putting on a coach on numbers permitting.

The Christmas Dance will take place on Saturday 4 December 2010, at the Sandon. 

We would like to remind coaches and members of track etiquette at St. Edwards. Anti-clockwise round the track please, and stick to the outside lane for warm-ups and warm-downs. Also, please be aware when crossing the track or stopping that there are runners coming through. Please leave the track immediately on stopping.

The Anglesey Marathon will take place on 26 September, alongside a half marathon, 10k, 5k, 5k buggy race and free children's races. For more information about the event click here. The race entry forms will be available at the club soon or can be downloaded here.

There are places available for the Great North Run on 19 September 2010 through St John's Ambulance, providing a minimum of £350 can be raised. See Pat or Tony for details of how to gain a place in a great running event and also support a great charity.

Mementoes of our Walton 5 Mile 25th Anniversary Race are available from Peter at a cost of £5 each.
 
The Paras are holding a 10 mile endurance race in aid of the charity Help For Heroes, on 12 September at the Catterick Garrison, North Yorkshire.

Members are now being registered with England Athletics for 2010-2011. This entails members' addresses are put on the system so members should receive their new cards directly. If anyone has any objection to this, they should see Tony.
