Training

TrainingTraining is held twice a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays, starting at 7pm. We prefer runners to arrive at the sports centre at 6.45pm for warm-up exercises. During the summer (May - August), we move to our summer home at St Edwards College.

At Walton Hall Sports Centre, you are obliged to pay a small fee of 50p for use of their facilities (ie showers and lockers).

Liverpool Running Club welcomes anyone, any ability, whether you are a beginner wanting to ‘get fit’, socialise or an experienced runner looking for competition. None of our members will be judged on their performance, all we expect, and want, is for our members to enjoy themselves!

Feel comfortable in a nice and friendly environment with other runners who are at your level of fitness and ability. Each different squad has different speeds and distances to fit everyone’s style and suitability.

Liverpool Running Club has over 390 members, with age groups ranging from 16 to 75 years.

To become a member you will need to complete the membership form and bring it with you, to your first training session.
