LRC Runners

Training

Training is held twice a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays, starting at 7pm, for a small fee of £1 per session. We prefer runners to arrive at the sports centre at 6.45pm for warm-up exercises. Ians squad go to the track at Bracknell Avenue on a Thursday also starting at 7pm.

Liverpool Running Club welcomes anyone, any ability, whether you are a beginner wanting to 'get fit', socialise or an experienced runner looking for competition. None of our members will be judged on their performance, all we expect, and want, is for our members to enjoy themselves!

Feel comfortable in a nice and friendly environment with other runners who are at your level of fitness and ability. Each different squad has different speeds and distances to fit everyone's style and suitability.

Liverpool Running Club has over 450 members, with age groups ranging from 16 to 75 years.

Group 2 -  Peter Marrs - (2-4 miles )

Group 3 - Pat kelly - (4-6 miles)

Group 4 - Alan Gidman (5-7 miles)

Group 5 -  Mark Scott - (6 - 8 miles) -  Suitable for: Sub 27 minute 5k / Sub 55 minute 10k / 1:55  to 2:00 1/2 Marathon.

Group 6 - Matt Helm - (6-8 miles) - Suitable for : Sub 25 minute 5k /  Sub50 minute 10k / 1:46 to 1:50 1/2 Marathon.

Group 7 - Stuart Russell - (6-8 miles)  - Suitable for : Sub 22 minute 5k / Sub 43 minute 10k / Sub 1:40 1/2 Marathon.

Group 8 - Ian Magill - (6-8 miles) - Suitable for: Sub 20 minute 5k / Sub 40 minute 10k / Sub 1:30 1/2 Marathon.
